Yeah, I just posted something like that. I think I got a little too reality-based for him, by mentioning actual body parts and processes, and he said it was "inappropriate" for facebook. (I wasn't aware that anything was inappropriate for facebook, but whatever.)

One of my FB friends -a teenager-just liked a picture of a naked woman and man in the shower. The guy has his hand inside her. I thought that was sort of inappropriate for FB.

Usually its more subtle than outright hostile, but yeah people suck. I did have one (former) friend tell me outright I should adopt and never get pregnant because I didn't know what it could do to my body.

For me, personally, I kind of decided against it. Or, really, life did, by not putting anyone with whom I would like to procreate in my path. In my position, it does not seem like the best choice. But it was never my life's dream, either. Sometimes, it would have been nice, but, I'm 38, it would be a double freakshow now. But I'd never try to decide that for anyone else, especially if it's their burning desire versus my, say, trip to Australia I haven't made yet. (I suspect that my cervix may be incompetent, also. It might never have been possible...both mom and grandma? Not so much with the easy breeding.) But maybe there will be a kid already here who will need me for something someday
