Yeah, but what you've done is productive procrastination. The laundry will get done when it gets done; in the meantime, you've done three different things in place of one. Sounds like a win to me.
This sounds like dangerous rationalization, plus we really could use some clean clothes. I'm currently on hold with the bank trying to fix my online access to my account. Laundry is starting to sound like fun compared to this.
Oh, hey, thunder. Something different.
Aims, love, I am sorry to hear that. Vivacious Aims hasn't gone anywhere, she's just a little tangled up and buried under stuff right now.
Apparently my left hip was jealous of all the attention my right shoulder got this weekend, and has decided to announce itself with wrenching pain. ::sigh:: There's a Living Social deal for an hour Swedish massage and pain assessment at a local chiropractice place, might see if I can work that into the budget.
((( Aims ))) and ((( Smonster )))
Yeah, and when I hear people bitching about illegal immigrants getting free immunizations and health care I just want to shake them and yell, "Do you understand how viruses work?!?" Communicable diseases do not care about your position on insurance, state and country boarders, religion, or political affiliation.
It's funny, it's usually the same people who have domestic help (maid, nanny, gardener) that say those types of things. They don't get, that if the maid just cleaned your bathroom, while sick, s/he just left ick all over your bathroom. Might have even coughed near your toothbrush. Nothing malicious, but hey, airborne! And those are the same folks who really could use that public transportation too. It helps commerce all around. But hey, that's the socialist in me, wanting folks to be able to get to work, and be healthy so they can keep working. Crazy, I know.
Oops, that turned into a bit of a rant. Sorry about that.
ION-, here on campus, seems somebody broke into one of the classroom/theaters and stole some lighting and sound equipment. They went through a LOT of trouble for the sound gear. The rack screws (keeps the equipment in the rack) had non-phillips head bits, so they took a grinder to those screw heads to get the gear out. Drilled out the lock on the rack. And hoisted away 10 year old gear that might be worth, eh, $100 or so. Of course, to replace it, will be $1500. But hey, that shit was causing problems last season, and was on the way out anyhow. So this gives us opportunity to replace it. Funny. Oh, and the lighting console, that was a lucky shot. The school just purchased a new one, but we are using it for the outdoor theater in the park, so the board they stole is the old one that is getting ready to be mothballed. All in all, makes for an interesting Monday.
Of course. They just stole the old stuff. Naturally.
Check me on this, please: it's a colossally bad idea to engage in introspection when one is on day 2 of a migraine that narcotics won't even make a dent in, when in fact one is comically over-drugged for said migraine, and one has neither eaten or slept enough or well for 3 days (facts which probably contribute to the migraine). Yes?
Because I'm halfway to (1) an eating disorder, (2) cosmetic surgery, and/or (3) breaking up with Tim for his own good.
Probably the wrong time to get all introspecty?
Probably the wrong time to get all introspecty?
YES. STEP AWAY FROM THE INTROSPECTION.
Because I'm halfway to (1) an eating disorder, (2) cosmetic surgery, and/or (3) breaking up with Tim for his own good.
None of those sound like good plans. I say forget all of them.
Probably the wrong time to get all introspecty?
I would hypothesise that it's
never
the right time for that kind of introspection.
Tep, dearest, that doesn't sound to me like introspection, so much as rabid brainweasels. Thirding the Step Away.
Brainweasels might explain the pain in my damn haid. OUT, WEASELS!
Amych is wise. Pay attention to amych.
The brainweasels are not your friends. amych is your friend.
That is all.
