And the thing is, I like my evil like I like my men: evil. You know, straight up, black hat, tied to the train tracks, soon my electro-ray will destroy metropolis BAD.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

smonster, I'd bring over some home cooked mac and cheese if I lived closer by. Honest I would.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ahhhh, that's the stuff.

Anne, I wish you did live near by so we could fulminate about the movie together.

Vortex, I hope the car is a good one for you.

Smonster I have homemade mac and cheese in my freezer right now. Now, where did I put the transporter.

Compassionately intolerant

My 90-year-old Mom is part of a Senior Rock n' Roll choir.

That is so cool. And, boo on the crappy gig.

I had mac 'n cheese for lunch!

Heh. It's that kind of day.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Exhausted. Walked around Ikea, Target, and Home Depot. Out of spoons. Dropped mom at her place and declared no work today on the new place, we all need a day off. Plus, I need some time away from her. I know she means well, and is trying to be helpful, but she's getting too comfy in my new place, and is starting to junk it up, and it's pissing me off. She's already said a few times how she would love to use my garage, and since I have a parking space in addition... yeah, NO!

ION- where else does one look for drapes? I didn't like what Ikea or Target had. I'm thinking big box store isn't the answer, as they only have a couple of generic options. But I've never shopped for drapes before. no clue where to look.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I bought my curtains at Lowes.

Anywhere, omnis! I've seen them at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, you could go to Home Depot or Lowes, or department stores like Sears or Macy's. Or Pottery Barn. Etc. Etc.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

omnis,

Not sure what your personal style is, but everywhere is right. I've liked the ones in Pottery Barn (especially the drapery machinery).

JC Penney's has (had?) a pretty good selection.

West Elm might be good too?

Crate & Barrel (but like PB, sometimes there are too pricey for no good reason).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

For some reason, Penney's has a really large selection of window treatments.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

There's also Bed Bath and Beyond.
