Smonster I have homemade mac and cheese in my freezer right now. Now, where did I put the transporter.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
My 90-year-old Mom is part of a Senior Rock n' Roll choir.
That is so cool. And, boo on the crappy gig.
I had mac 'n cheese for lunch!
Heh. It's that kind of day.
Exhausted. Walked around Ikea, Target, and Home Depot. Out of spoons. Dropped mom at her place and declared no work today on the new place, we all need a day off. Plus, I need some time away from her. I know she means well, and is trying to be helpful, but she's getting too comfy in my new place, and is starting to junk it up, and it's pissing me off. She's already said a few times how she would love to use my garage, and since I have a parking space in addition... yeah, NO!
ION- where else does one look for drapes? I didn't like what Ikea or Target had. I'm thinking big box store isn't the answer, as they only have a couple of generic options. But I've never shopped for drapes before. no clue where to look.
I bought my curtains at Lowes.
Anywhere, omnis! I've seen them at places like TJ Maxx and Marshalls, you could go to Home Depot or Lowes, or department stores like Sears or Macy's. Or Pottery Barn. Etc. Etc.
omnis,
Not sure what your personal style is, but everywhere is right. I've liked the ones in Pottery Barn (especially the drapery machinery).
JC Penney's has (had?) a pretty good selection.
West Elm might be good too?
Crate & Barrel (but like PB, sometimes there are too pricey for no good reason).
For some reason, Penney's has a really large selection of window treatments.
There's also Bed Bath and Beyond.
I love you all!
Now, if only I knew what I wanted in drapes, to help narrow down the selection process, I'd be happier. So far, I have "not ugly". Oh, and mom picked up a silver leopard print drape (since the house is painted in a silver/grey color)... so I can safely rule out animal print stuff too. Aside from that. Not much clue.
well, you probably can narrow down some fabric/colors you like if you just walk through a JCP or Lowe's display area.
95% of drapes are ugly.
Maybe 98%.
