You were ignored. Sears is absolutely the worst. NoiseDesign and Pix have lots of bad things to say about them.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I called T to tell her about my aunt and found out that the nephews are in town. I have no idea if anyone would have bothered to tell me if I hadn't called her. I am going out with friends tonight for a belated birthday celebration, which is good because otherwise this would end up being a night of wallowing.
It's not a case of being ignored, but I got someone fired once for saying to me "You've got to stop beating your husband" when Hubby was on crutches once. Granted, the manager came over on his own recognizance as I was laying into said worker, but when manager got the gist of my diatribe, he agreed with me.
And we have walked out of restaurants after being seated when no waitress has shown up after people have been served who arrived after us.
I am usually ignored when I actually want to give someone money and hovered over when I'm just looking.
This chemo makes me sleep 12 hours one day and vibrate with unfocused energy the next. Today is a vibrating day. If I could just focus, it would be a good thing.
I am sorry you didn't know the nephews were in town, sj. I'm glad you're going out tonight with friends. Sucks to feel ignored.
He agreed, we were ignored.
Different kind of sucking to be ignored there. I am glad you spent your money elsewhere.
I think most people on Craigslist are screwing off at work. I swear, I list something free during the week and hear back in two minutes usually. I'm not worried, just amused.
I started taking biotin a couple of months ago and my nails are massively stronger. I hope that translates to less chance of losing hair from stress. My nails have never been particularly strong.
Sudden summer is playing heck on my allergies. Sneezes everywhere.
That sounds frustrating, Ginger. I hate when my brain has that squirrel feeling. Totally running but aimless and pointless. How are you feeling overall?
I'm sending you "focus"...vibes, Ginger.
I refuse to be ignored, unless *I* choose it. I do frosty affronted dowager pretty well. I'm taking lessons from Dame Maggie.
Oh, sj. I'm glad you have a party to go to tonight. Will you get to see the 'phews, now that you know they're in town?
Typo, do you have any first hand reports of decapitation stopping headaches?
Typo, do you have any first hand reports of decapitation stopping headaches?
No one has complained.
After driving six hours, I finally made it to Gallaudet. (GPS said it would take four hours, but I've driven the NJ-DC route often enough to know that GPS was lying.) I've got to get used to being in an ASL environment again, but it seems like my brain is starting to adjust already. For the first little while, whenever someone signed something to me, I had to ask them to repeat it, because I needed to switch over to "understand ASL" mode. After just a few hours, and a few interactions (registering, getting dorm stuff, exchanging my key for one that actually fit in my door, and getting dinner), I'm not having to ask for repetition anymore.
Okay, I know there are frequent fliers in here. I am 35 miles away from a free Delta ticket. What can I do (preferably not costing money) to earn myself some SkyMiles?
I already participate in eMiles.com and eRewards.com.
