On the off chance you are not kidding, it means you recycle the same things as before but in one bin that mixed cans, bottles and paper. Check with your garbage service. This change sometimes lets you add certain kinds of plastic too.
There is a theory behind it. The recycling is tougher to handle mixed like this, but people recycle more. Whether it is a net gain I'm not sure. Our city does this, and claims they end up with less landfill waste than with separate streams.
Scrappy, I am so sorry. I hope it is pneumonia and she responds quickly and easily to treatment.
Just having everyone here is helping. And the internet means I can take you all with me.
We'll follow you ANYWHERE, Cass!
Best wishes for your mom, Scrappy. They tend to keep patients our moms ages to be on the safe side. Quick fix ~ma.
Cass, I moved to Florida to be closer to my father after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. I will always be grateful for the time we had together because of that choice.
Skipped to end because of crazed life. {{Bitches}}
I was totally kidding. (Although, everything that happens at work is irritating me these days.)
ION OMGWTF - shark!
{{Scrappy}} All kinds of ~ma to your mom. I don't feel right wishing pneumonia on anyone, but I totally understand the sentiment!
Cass, we'll totally follow you whereever you go. We're stalkers like that.
Oh, Scrappy. You know it's shitty when you're hoping for pneumonia.
Scrappy, if your mom needs anything, please let me know. If I remember correctly, she lives in the planned community in the DC suburbs that begins with "R" and has a town center. I'm not that far away, for whatever reason.
I'm hoping that it turns out to be the best of lousy possibilities. Much ~ma to the both of you.
Scrappy, I'm hoping for the best!
All good thoughts for both of you, Scrappy.
