Best wishes for your mom, Scrappy. They tend to keep patients our moms ages to be on the safe side. Quick fix ~ma.
Cass, I moved to Florida to be closer to my father after he was diagnosed with lung cancer. I will always be grateful for the time we had together because of that choice.
Skipped to end because of crazed life. {{Bitches}}
I was totally kidding. (Although, everything that happens at work is irritating me these days.)
ION OMGWTF - shark!
{{Scrappy}} All kinds of ~ma to your mom. I don't feel right wishing pneumonia on anyone, but I totally understand the sentiment!
Cass, we'll totally follow you whereever you go. We're stalkers like that.
Oh, Scrappy. You know it's shitty when you're hoping for pneumonia.
Scrappy, if your mom needs anything, please let me know. If I remember correctly, she lives in the planned community in the DC suburbs that begins with "R" and has a town center. I'm not that far away, for whatever reason.
I'm hoping that it turns out to be the best of lousy possibilities. Much ~ma to the both of you.
Scrappy, I'm hoping for the best!
All good thoughts for both of you, Scrappy.
Thanks, all. MFN, you are right about where she lives, but she is WELL taken care of. In her room today were her sister, her BFF, her grandson and his girlfriend and her granddaughter. Tomorrow my brother will be there, plus probably more of these same folks. I wish I could be there, but we'll have to wait and see.
I just got off the phone with her and she sounds okay. The pulmonologist said there is a mass on her lung which he thinks is fungal and may indicate TB(!), but they will know more soon. He did say that other than this mass, he'd send her home because all of her vital signs are excellent.
Hoping for the best outcome for your ma, Scrappy.
