Sweetie, we're crooks. If everything were right, we'd be in jail.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

my mind went to a place like Calli's and I couldn't for the life of me get how I would say it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I was thinking about a pinched nerve, but it's in both hands.

Right now my left foot is my only reminder of what normal feels like. Ugh. Left hand is mostly okay, but still weird. Worst is right foot currently. Bizarre.

Although I love the mental image of a fur-clad trapper carefully concealing his snares to capture the wily nerve. While most trappers swear by an acetylcholine bait, the trapper in our tale prefers a light dusting of dopamine.

Hearts.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

P-C,

I fucked up my back (and it is still not right) and experience pain and numbness (depending) on both sides (or one side) in arms and/or legs.

Nerve problems (for me it tight muscles impinging on the nerves) needn't be constrained to one area, esp with back and neck.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

When my shoulders get really tight from stress, my hands go tingly-numb. Happens to my sister when she's been driving for a long time. IOW, sometimes it's the muscles putting pressure on nerves, too, as le n said.

Thunderstorm coming in.

can I just say, how much I love my bitches, and how we jump in en masse to help folks? Look at us this morning. Both Sean and PC (ok, maybe Sean was yesterday, I'm a little behind). I love it!

ION- for those of you thinking of painting a whole condo without professionals. DON"T DO IT! Ouch. Hurt. Everywhere. Today will be a light day. Some clean up from last nights mess. Eat a little. And come home. Now I just need to wait for flooring to go in, and then I can move in!!! Eeep. So excited!

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I love the mental image of a fur-clad trapper carefully concealing his snares to capture the wily nerve.

I'm fairly sure that's how my joints go about it. Stealthily.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

This is just weird because I don't can't identify anything that's dramatically changed to have brought this on.

You're getting old, son. You ever read Dark Knight Returns? Tingling hands were the least of Batman's problems.

Okay, seriously, you can have bilateral pinched nerves, and general inflammation can be bilateral.

And stress can have totally fucked-up effects on the human body.

PC, remember us fondly as you begin your career as a superhero with your brand new powers.

There's a giant vaguely lizard-shaped creature in my backyard. Can you swing by? (Get it? SWING by? I AM HILARIOUS.)

Totally unrelatedly, Trader Joe's has a goat-cheese gouda made with honey that is so good I might eat about 10,000 pounds of it. Also, quinoa fruit salad is awesome.
