'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Totally unrelatedly, Trader Joe's has a goat-cheese gouda made with honey that is so good I might eat about 10,000 pounds of it. Also, quinoa fruit salad is awesome.

Our latest TJ's obsession is Island Soyaki, a kind of marinade they were using on sample meatballs in-store. Sooo addictive. It's got soy sauce, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger and sesame seeds.

It's so good on meats.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I just booked our flight to Colorado for August. All the Colorado-istas are mine! My cousin thinks I'm going out there for his wedding.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

You're never going to believe this, but we've just found Merlin. He's hanging out in next door's garden. He's clearly hanging around and eating the food in the evening. Thank God he hasn't gone too far.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

::weeps the weep of the TJ-less::

YAY MERLIN YAY!!! That is fantastic news.

Nora, if you're lurking (go read! Engage in indoor shenanigans!) I am hanging with the boys. Marley is sitting on the kitchen table and contemplating my face. And now he's jumping down.

Why is the weekend always gone?

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Yay, Merlin! Stick around, Kitty!

The power of the buffista ~ma strikes again. Yay, merlin! Are you able to get him back in the house, or are you going to let him continue to hang out outside?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

You're never going to believe this, but we've just found Merlin.

YAY Merlin! Now, please be a good cat and stick around the general neighbo(u)rhood, hmmm?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Yay kitty!

I also have no TJ's, and damnit, now I want that cheese.
