I already know what I'm gonna call her. Got a name all picked out...

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Hi, everyone! We had a good day shopping around Edinburgh today. However, we're so burnt out that we just stopped at the closest restaurant to us, which had the worst Italian food ever. Tomorrow is going to be a crazy day of trying to get from Edinburgh to Glasgow airport. Wish us luck!

The postcards all went out today as did a wee little royal wedding package for the Empress. I hope everyone gets what I sent out!

Man, if this were silver-toned, I'd be so tempted...

Guh! That is beautiful, but I would also want it in silver.

So, TCG is out enjoying a cigar. Do I 1. Get dessert in the bar. 2. Take a long hot bath. 3. Organize my luggage?

If that was silver-toned, I would be adding it to my cart right now.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Oh, yeah, I saw that whole thread, Plei, and I think you did as good a job as possible under the circumstances. My fl is thick with the crazy politics on both sides, so I just can't engage at all. Although I do say it amuses me to have any issue invariably spring up with strident arguments on both sides, each phrased with language that assumes that I, the reader, agree. One post by my anarchist buddies followed by one by my conservative hometown school friends.

Also it makes me deeply glad I didn't end up with my last boyfriend before the SO, because that guy is way off the deep end. And I'm pliable. I could totally see how my views would have developed differently had I not been exposed to things like the music festival that radicalized me or, for that matter, you guys.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Smack him with a rolled-up newspaper?

I am for real trying to figure out how to apply dog training techniques. The book I'm reading for dealing with Frankie promises "willing participation." That would make my YEAR.

How did you know?

Not trading. Best of luck, my sister in the struggle. I should count myself lucky he's not my kid.

So how can I complain about big business, even though I absolutely see how they play a big role in the inequities of our society? Is a dilemma.

Same way we love Joss but still critique. There's a wide gap between blanket condemnation and total support.

Do I 1. Get dessert in the bar. 2. Take a long hot bath. 3. Organize my luggage?

Eat dessert in the bath.

It's possible that I'm a bad influence.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I vote bath, sj.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I vote dessert.

I think bath is going to win because there is suddenly loud music coming from the bar area, and I just can't deal with noise tonight. Maybe room service. Sadly, I can't take the internets with me back to the room because they want ridiculous money to do that.

What hotel are you staying at in Edinburgh, sj?
