My kids all sleep with me but it's more like they sleep together on one side. If I ever get them out of my room, I expect it will be together.
Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Does that make me a weirdo, that I let them?
Not at all. Used to be common for most families to share a bed. My mom shared a bed with her sister all the way through high school.
When Matilda was littler I often would drop her off in Emmett's bed in the morning for half an hour so they could cuddle when I took a shower.
phew! Thanks for the reality check. I worry sometimes that I'm encouraging porous personal boundaries, but then again my sister and I shared a bed most nights for many years of our own choice. My parents would tuck us into our own beds, but we both had trouble falling asleep on our own so we'd end up together.
Erin, I’m so sorry. {{{you and your family}}}
In whiny me news, I’ve been sick for days. My throat won’t stop hurting, and the glands in my throat are like golf balls--one bigger than the other--and I know it’s not strep because I’ve been on antibiotics since Monday for a sinus infection. So it’s likely viral, and that just means waiting it out. Which kind of sucks.
I'm sorry you're sick, Pix. And Aims, she's hauntingly beautiful. Thanks for the pictures!
Ugh Pix, that does suck. I hope you can rest up this weekend.
Aims, she is absolutely lovely.
I hope you are feeling better today and can enjoy the weekend, Pix.
I can remember sharing a room with my brother. There was many a time when we fell asleep together in our teens too, but mostly because we were up late playing cards and fell out in place.
Pix, I hope you get completely better soon.

I don't remember sleeping with my brothers but I have clear memories of taking baths with the one closest to my age when we were quite young (I think I was probably not in first grade yet, putting him at no more than 11).
My brother is just 11 months younger than me and we bathed together when little. I think the only reason I remember is that he screamed the whole time. Hated water. I suspect that mom thought my water loving fishy ways would influence him.
Em looks very elegant and rather fey.
