[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Thanks for the link, Jilli! Boy, did I get some funny looks from my crew. And now that I think about it... I had another skull on my front porch. I don't think it's there anymore. Hmph.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

At Motel 6 outside of Champaign, IL. It looks like IKEA threw up in there, but it's got a flat screen TV. And I'm not in a bar, and there's Wifi.

Not bad. Hi, guys! I'm on vacation!

Kathy, yes it was a guided one day coach tour that took us to a distillery and a castle.

Thrive to spite them

Hey Bitches!!

I'm back from visiting my family in Florida and I'm caught up here. 7 days with very limited internet sucks.

But I had a great time and my nephew is adorable beyond words and really tall, he's 3 and is in the 4-5 year old height range. We taught him to hokey pokey on Tuesday when it rained all day and he loved that. And wanted to do it over and over.

The trip down was okay the trip back was frustrating.

But on the way down I got a call from the temp agency about a job placement. It would be a full time admin assistant position at a non profit. There was a temp in the position but the company hired her for another position so this one became open. I was submitted for the position. That was last Thursday and as of Tuesday the non profit wanted to see at least 2 more resumes before making a decision but Jessica at the temp agency said she felt I was the strongest resume and was still looking for 2 other people to submit for the job. But the non profit has someone covering that position so they aren't in a hurry to fill it.

I'm crossing my fingers they will decide on me and soon.

Daniel I'm glad you are out of the hospital and I'm sorry you are having problems with the disability coverage I hope it gets covered.

Good luck, askye!! Sounds like you have a really good chance of getting this. Hope they do pick you.

The 19 yo puppy boy continues to be a major challenge. Will not take direction.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I always feel guilty when the maternity leave/insurance/OccupyWallStreet type stuff comes up. I work for a big old corporation that has provided me with excellent benefits, a great salary, and flexible work schedule for almost 11 years now. So how can I complain about big business, even though I absolutely see how they play a big role in the inequities of our society? Is a dilemma.

Glam, I'd say accept that you work for an exception and if all big companies had the same policies we wouldn't be in as much of a mess as we are.

I've been debating whether to call the insurance company and find out how much - if anything - of my catarct surgery will be covered. Guess I should ... if they're not going to cover it, I think I'd have to cancel.
