Much ~ma for your friend and her daughter, smonster. That's about the most awful feeling I can imagine.

Spike's Bitches 47: Someone Dangerous Could Get In
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
wrod. If I write a drabble about Dawn for the Merry Month of Masturbation Challenge, is that gross? Will I be shunned by shunned people?
Morning, all! (And yes, it IS morning — I was able to sleep through the night and woke up to the dulcet sounds of chain saws.)
Y'all, your lovin' kicked my ass good. (Sounds like like a C&W song, no?) But I feel a LOT better today, for the first time in weeks, and I KNOW that if I hadn't written yesterday, it wouldn'r have happened.
So...thank you for being you and accepting of my whackadoo brain chem foibles.
One of my besties took me out for a brow wax, and the shop had an adorable owl mug I squeed over...and she bought me that, too, and I am drinking coffee out of it! It makes me happy. (I will post a pic to Facebook -- Beverly, I am Erin whose last name rhymes with animals of a porcine disposition.)
smonster, much -ma for your friend and daughter.
Today, I plan on doing some laundry, calling the lawnmower guy, doing the dishes and cleaning the rest of my office.
This weekend, I will harangue D into helping me to clean out the backyard and go to the grocery story, and get back into the groove of getting some work done.
Sincerely, I do not know what I would do without you all. I love you all.
AND OMG, BUY AVENGERS TIX!!!! Off to do that RIGHT NOW!

Erin Maconbeast?
Heh.
Erin _______ (rhymes with Pigs -- and yes, that was terrible trauma for my nerdy, picked-on childhood.)
Last name will go BOOM in a couple of hours.
Glad to hear you are feeling better Erin!
IOmeN, credit union finally came through with a pre-qualify certificate. I forward it to my realtor. She informs me, the selling bank wants a pre-qualify *APPROVAL*. Oh for the love of god. Dunno what this will take. I guess if it was easy, anyone could do it.
I like Maconbeast. It is better than my actual last name. Maybe I would change my name in marriage(ha, ha, like that'll happen) if I get to be Ms. Maconbeast
My semester is over! Well, I'll probably still have another day or two of students emailing me asking for higher grades, but everything that I'm actually supposed to do is done! And those student emails are a pain, but I'm just supposed to respond to them with something like, "These were your grades during the semester. Based on the guidelines in the syllabus, your grade is ___," so it just takes a few minutes.
Glad to hear you are feeling better, Erin!
Maconbeast is an AWESOME last name. Someone should use it in Justified fic. Or maybe I will, the next time I need an online pseudonym. Juniper Maconbeast, has a kind of poetry to it.
I did not go to work today. I did get up at 8:30, fed the animals, and have been running errands for a couple of hours. Back at home to eat lunch, and then more errands. I hope I can get a nap in at some point.
I'm blaming my red wine hangover on the NOPD, their delay and shenanigans. ISTG it was ridonk, way to conform to stereotypes. Two phone calls and 3.5 hrs to show, officer didn't even get out of the g-d car, told the girl's aunt to step away from the car when she didn't do anything, said a bunch of contradicting shit like "you waited too long" and that you you have to call the police to set the 24-hr clock running before you can call back and file a missing person's report. Another hour to get the ranking officer on the scene (who thankfully is an acquaintance of the family), get him up to date and get his officer in line, and another half hour to file the g-d report.
And when he finally left, the mom was left with a piece of paper and no clear instructions on what to do next.
As a friend of the family and the police said, "Imagine how they treat people they *don't* like. "
I am so behind in here, so I hope I get everyone in:
{{Erin}} I'm glad the past few days have improved your outlook. A support network is a wonderful thing. Still sending ~ma, though, as a deficit takes a while to refill.
{{Ginger}} Much, much~ma to you, you amazing, witty, generous person. I do wish you were closer to some of us, so we could do more for you.
{{Nora}} Doggie~ma. May he find his owners or be found by someone who can get him into a safe space.
{{smonster and smonster's friend}} Fast return to the fold~ma for the daughter.
{{sumi}} Hoping the something is easily dealt with.
{{Laura}} Fast foot recovery! Also, glad to hear Brendan and all are fine; sorry about the car, though.
{{MFNlaw}} More car~ma.
I think that's everyone, work has been eating me from the bottom lately and I haven't had time to check in every day the way I like to. It just seems like the universe is being particularly perverse lately. I think this one needs to be returned to the bullpen and for an alternate to be sent in.
