Oh and any recs for good price good quality for fat dude suspenders? I'm Googling right now, but I wonder if anyone knows some place off hand they have experience with or have heard good things about.
Typo, a large friend who likes to cosplay Mal sent me to King Size Direct. (dot com).
I'm a customer there. I've gotten some nice stuff there but no suspenders. They have them, tho.
Check Craigslist for "moving boxes"?
Done that. No luck in my area.
There I was, sitting in traffic driving home. And I was thinking about the new-place-that-isn't-mine-yet. (what, I can dream and get my hopes up). Anyhow, the porch with awesome view is through the bedroom. So I'm trying to think, how to arrange the room to maximize flow to get to the porch. And then, I had what could be a brilliant idea. MURPHY BED! Has anyone had one? Any experiences with them? Good idea? Bad idea? I found these guys local to me (a bit pricey, but cool): [link]
my folks have one - they built it . ir works in one of the guest rooms
Omnis, is it a 1-bedroom?
Are you thinking that you'd just put the bed up in he wall when guest came over? They're kind of a huge pain in the ass. I knew someone with one in NYC and she really regretted the Murphy as their main bed. Maybe a really good futon couch/bed? That way when you're not using it as a bed, guests can actually sit on it.

Exactly, when folks are over, I can tuck the bed out of the way. 90% of the time, it would be down. The pain in the ass factor is what I'm wondering. I suppose I need to visit the show room, and see if I can physically do it. Not a fan of futon's. The whole fold in half thing was really annoying. I had one for my couch for almost 10 years. With the move, I was planning to buy a platform bed that has dresser drawers underneath.
Yeah, I don't love futons either. Do you think a bed would just be in the way?
The door into the bedroom is on one side of the room, the sliding glass door to the porch is on the opposite corner. And I'm not one to make the bed. Seems easier/faster to tuck it up when company comes. But... the spring loaded action, I wonder how it is long term. Does it get dusty/gunky and hard to operate? How hard is it to do? Does the mattress slide down after awhile? Will it flip up whie I'm in it? And, if I should ever get lucky again, how is it with sex? (hey, it's Bitches, it's a fair question)
