I feel like I should know this, Typo, as my dad is large and likes suspenders. But I don't--though I'll bet the place I order his clothing-based Christmas presents from has some (it's called "King Size")
I have a weird ache in my ...hip? lower back? sorta somewhere in there. And yesterday was foam-rolling it and that wasn't getting the right spot enough, so I tried a tennis ball. Today I am bruised there. Oops. Not quite as good an idea as tennis-ball-vs-back-against-wall, to try hip-on-ball-on-floor.
The large men in my life don't like suspenders. Sorry Typo.
meara, try a racquetball. I like them better than tennis balls as a self-massage tool for a couple of reasons. For one, they're smooth so you can use on bare skin even in delicate areas like your neck. For another, you're much less likely to bruise yourself because while they can deliver some nice pressure, they also give a little under full body weight so less likely to cause bruises.

vw, thanks for the offer. I'm not sure when we would have a chance to get them from you, but I may take you up on it if I get desperate.
We bought boxes from U-Haul, they worked out great.
I am really trying to avoid spending more money right now, but I may have to suck it up.
Check Craigslist for "moving boxes"?
Oh and any recs for good price good quality for fat dude suspenders? I'm Googling right now, but I wonder if anyone knows some place off hand they have experience with or have heard good things about.

I'm a customer there. I've gotten some nice stuff there but no suspenders. They have them, tho.

Done that. No luck in my area.
There I was, sitting in traffic driving home. And I was thinking about the new-place-that-isn't-mine-yet. (what, I can dream and get my hopes up). Anyhow, the porch with awesome view is through the bedroom. So I'm trying to think, how to arrange the room to maximize flow to get to the porch. And then, I had what could be a brilliant idea. MURPHY BED! Has anyone had one? Any experiences with them? Good idea? Bad idea? I found these guys local to me (a bit pricey, but cool): [link]
my folks have one - they built it . ir works in one of the guest rooms
