sj,
apparently, there is some solid research about self-hypnosis as a way to deal with pain of childbirth. I understand it can be very effective.
'Safe'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Hil, I think that you use a TENS unit, there's one for sale today for $20 in a Woot deal (http://www.woot.com/)
Oooh! Yoink!
I've been wanting to get one for my back and hip (no, seriously). And it will probably be put to other uses as well.
Wait, there's other things you can do with a tens unit? I can't imagine letting that kind of electrical current near sensitive bits...but i'm also not very kinky. $100 copay for me with insurance!
I have the temp assignment for sure! But the start of training was moved to the 16th.
Yay, askye! That's great news.
I am babysitting today, and then we have the final walk through of the house tonight before we have the closing tomorrow.
Congrats, askye!
I have eaten breakfast, done dishes, taken Frankie to the park, stopped by a friend's house, given Frankie a bath, and taken a shower. My main goal for the next couple of hours is to apply for a job and/or apply for a career fair thingy. My reward is getting a box of produce from the farmer's market.
Ready and... go!
Yay, askye!
yay askye!
Go, go , smonster!
today I did tacled some of the paperwork problem that I have = Every time I do a little I feel very good. but rarely does it translate to a continuous effort. I think I am going to make Tuesday am handle some paperwork. I have a few hings I need to follow up on later today and tomorrow, but just two things -
Go, go , smonster!
Yeah, I went went back to bed. Creating structure for myself - really not a strong point. Hmph. I'm going to go look at a used bike, and then get the produce anyway. And then take another stab and setting goals and such.
Day two of the Stage Rigging workshop. I'm getting the feeling there will be very little/no hands on/practical lessons, and a whole lot of theory & war stories. Eh. Some exposure is good exposure. Just wish there was more how-to's. What I do know, three days in a row of 8am calls and going until midnight is wearing me out. And the conference hasn't even begun yet!
