Now tagless for your comfort.

The sloth is totally my totem animal!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I got a whole lot of nothing accomplished. I'm wearing the wrong jeans to try on bras.

My god, I look awful in these jeans. I need to (what's gender unspecific for sac up?) and get rid of them. But that would require replacement, and apparently my fear of changing rooms is back in full force.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

The sloth is totally my totem animal!

Mine too! I even have an LJ icon!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

A bunch of Facebook posts by people not realizing The Onion is fake.

I find it irritating. I need the moment when the OP figures out that s/he's an idiot who doesn't get satire and becomes indignant. That's always my favorite part. I feel like I'm being denied the ending when the emperor figures out that s/he's both buck naked and has a piece of toilet paper trailing from his/her crack.

Without that moment of realization, I just feel sad.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Allyson, I had the same reaction.

I kind of wish they weren't vaguely anonymised, because people really should be called out on that idiocy.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Harking back to posts of yesterhour, I'd also be up for a couch-to-3k group (although I'm not interested in actually racing--just in knowing I could jog the route). Do all runners and runners-to-be know about Map My Run? Apparently they have some sort of friend function where people can keep up with each others running stuff. Of course, we already have b.org.

I am a firm believer in this, also. I read one comment about the tumblr that it was all just snobby elitists picking on rubes.

And I can't figure out how anyone is supposed to stop being a rube if you don't say to them, "this is satire. You may also want to acquaint yourself with Poe's Law.
