"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yes. The Canyon. The Grand one. She is nuts. But she's kind of a badass anyway. She has a kiddo with some medical issues and has raised her banners and gone tilting against the system to get him the care he needs. So she's fearless. Apparently lacks fear about this too. But I would not be going down today. I hear you can get a nice cuppa at the lodge at the top.

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

That's really cool, megan! I had no idea that was possible.

Basically the door buzzer can be linked to any 415 phone number, so, since my cell phone has the same area code, I could use that. Good thing since it's my only phone.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, that's magic. Although it would be a problem for me here, since I don't have a 617 number, even though I have a home phone!

hwæt

I occasionally get calls from my front door by people who pressed the wrong button. It's the building's equivalent of ass-dialing.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I used to have a heavy brass koala (IDEK) that my son and his gf at the time gave me. The boys said they could track me down in a store because I'd hold the keys in my left hand by the bear and flap, flap, flap, flap, the keys back and forth over my hand while I shopped.

Promised sunshine by the weather people, H and I are headed up to Squamish today, where the SPN episode Wishful Thinking was filmed. We've been to Concrete, the putative town in the ep--but not the actual filming location. There will be flickr pictures, for those interested. Eventually.

Yeah, my old apartment I wouldve loved to use my cell, but no long distance allowed. And I've had this cell number for 12 years!

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Question for the eco-people -- I've got Mac power chord that doesn't work anymore. The kind with the white box thingie. It's got a little symbol on it with a trash can with an X through it, so I know I'm not supposed to throw it out, but what am I supposed to do with it? Is this electronics recycling?

smonster - May 18, 2011 7:38:59 am PDT #8661 of 30001
We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Hil - yes, you should be able to include it with electronics recycling.

You could probably just take it to the apple store and they'll deal with it. You might even get a credit or a coupon.

Closest Apple Store is about 200 miles away.

Thanks. I've had a box of stuff for electronics recycling sitting in my living room for a while. Just have to actually remember about it at a time when they're open and I feel like going there.
