Wow, that's magic. Although it would be a problem for me here, since I don't have a 617 number, even though I have a home phone!
Yeah, my old apartment I wouldve loved to use my cell, but no long distance allowed. And I've had this cell number for 12 years!
Question for the eco-people -- I've got Mac power chord that doesn't work anymore. The kind with the white box thingie. It's got a little symbol on it with a trash can with an X through it, so I know I'm not supposed to throw it out, but what am I supposed to do with it? Is this electronics recycling?
Hil - yes, you should be able to include it with electronics recycling.
You could probably just take it to the apple store and they'll deal with it. You might even get a credit or a coupon.

Closest Apple Store is about 200 miles away.

Thanks. I've had a box of stuff for electronics recycling sitting in my living room for a while. Just have to actually remember about it at a time when they're open and I feel like going there.
OMG - the students have been letting off a giant noisemaker in here. Something like an air horn. I swear my ears are about ready to bleed. And now I'm all jumpy.
I'm avoiding posting scary political stuff, but this quote is more funny/surreal/bizarre than scary.
"Any ad which quotes what I said on Sunday is a falsehood," Gingrich said, amazingly.
Gingrich: Quoting me is lying about me
This is about the Paul Ryan Medicare thing....
eta: Also, Gingrich glitter bombed
A gay rights supporter showered the Republican presidential candidate with glitter confetti in Minnesota
What keyrings do you guys carry?
I have a Fullmetal Alchemist keychain (Alphonse Elric), with my condo keys, my work keys, the key to my parents' house, and membership cards to Binny's Beverage Depot and DSW.
I have two sets of keys: my non-car keys is a brass loopy thing I've had since college.
My set of car keys is actually two sets: a ring with house keys etc., and the car fob and ignition key, both sets hooked onto a tiny carabiner. When I go running in the woods, I stash the house keys and the carabiner in the car, and just carry the car key.
My car keys used to have a little BtVS seal on it, that someone gave me years ago, but one day it flew off when I was pulling them out of my bag, and that was it. It was a nice little fannish thing, very discreet.
My car key ring has a little Swiss army knife on it - very handy. My house keys are on a work-related ring (it's a replica of the flag on aircraft landing gear - says "remove before flight" on it with the company logo).
