Go, msbelle! Line 'em up, knock 'em down. Or something.
Suzi, you can do it. Chat his head off. In a good way.
The tea discussion inspired me to make a cup of the pear caramel truffle tea Jilli sent in my Secret Santa gift. It's like dessert, it's so yummy.
Nilly! You have a lovely Pi baby!
Pi baby is lovely, Nilly.
My computer so agreed with that sentiment that it posted it twice.
I sent another email! And have started an email list for all the VBS volunteers. Go go rusty organization skills.
Of course I need to get mac in about half an hour and have not even showered yet today, SO I guess it is break time.
So my dad does need the pacemaker/defibrillator, so will be coming up here tomorrow or Thursday, depending on when a bed is open. Then he'll have a couple more days in the hospital. Of course there's a bit of a complication. My mom is getting a cataract removed from her eye tomorrow. So a) she can't travel up here to be with my dad, and b) someone will have to take care of her at home. One of my sister's is coming up to be here with my dad.
Universe - LAY OFF Sue's family for a while, would ya? Get everyone fixed and then chill.
Still chatting. Coming up on hour 2...
Sue, continued good thoughts for your dad and added ~ma for your mom. That is quite the confluence of stressful events.
On a very different note, I'm keeping the pi baby picture open in a tab and keep clicking back to it and squeeing.
Also, I think I shall have some tea now.
Note to coworkers in the other office,
Calling me a rock star does not actually make it better that you have no fewer than 3 emergency requests a week and consistently fail to schedule things on time. Please stop doing it.
-no love,
me
Sue, thinking of you and your family.
showered.
I drank too much coffee today, am jittery. On the one hand, I am getting a wee bit done, on the other I don't like feeling like this.
