I drank too much coffee today, am jittery. On the one hand, I am getting a wee bit done, on the other I don't like feeling like this.
I'm staying home from school tonight (I can catch the lecture on the web tomorrow) because this cold is shifting from incipient to actual, and I'm scheduled for a six hour shift tomorrow, damn it.

The tea discussion inspired me to make a cup of the pear caramel truffle tea Jilli sent in my Secret Santa gift. It's like dessert, it's so yummy.

I just had an email conversation with my agent that was NOT onerous (very few conversations with her are, actually), and kind of exciting. Not about the proposal I sent in, but other stuff.
The onerous task that IS looming over me is working on a new GCS column. I really, really need to do that. I may do a write-up of the Vampire Ball, and then work on an advice column.
Still chatting. I kinda want to end cause I have other stuff I need to do, including cleaning up cat barf, but we are havving a good conversation...
