Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have definitely seen people I should at least be friends with at the 11am movie, but have never figured out a way to make that happen! Ah well.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

He will sign autographs naked.

Yeah, but he did say that being asked to sign an autograph while naked was "inappropriate."

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

This was a 10:20 movie. He's evidently dedicated like I am. Knew to stay after the credits too. PERFECT. I can't believe I'm still single.

And, sadly, he's not at my normal theatre (I had to travel to find the movie in 2D), so we're just fated to be apart.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

David Tennant wears day of the week socks. That he's willing to show on telly. And Superman shoes. CUTENESS KILLING ME NOW.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

David Tennant wears day of the week socks.

That just made me wonder if he had day of the week undies.

But apparently if you think it's appropriate he'll power through.

David Tennant wears day of the week socks.

With pink toes! WHY DIDN'T HE MARRY ME???

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

This "grownup responsibility" thing is FOR THE BIRDS.

I'm working on outsourcing as much of it as possible.

I need someone to come organize my closets. For real, people. This is getting ridiculous. There are items of clothing that I KNOW I have but I cannot find. They are lost somewhere in the Limbo of Clean Unfolded Laundry, or perhaps the Closet of Cat Fur and Despair.

sarameg, this may not work for you, but when I had a cat who was having trouble making it to the litter box, I went to Goodwill and bought a ton of old towels and sheets for cheap, and laid them in the places he was most likely to finally lose control (near the litter box, fortunately; he always tried to make it). When the inevitable happened, I just rolled up the soiled cloth and took it out to the garbage can. I just couldn't deal with the laundry/dirty floor issues.

MK is making it to the box. Problem is, he's stepping in it at some point, as it, um, is loose. He's old and doesn't have good spacial awareness or anal feline hygiene, anymore. And I am literally cleaning shit specks off the walls and floors and wherever else. Ain't pretty, that's for sure. Frankly, gross. And he had another bath today because late morning vet appts do not agree with his gustation. There was cat bathing. And laundry again.

PLEASE let the sooperspecial probiotics work.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Back from a hell of a visit to the in laws. My MiL is doing really well, even with a broken wrist, sprained knee and broken shoulder. We managed to ease her out to dinner at her favorite place and a lovely time was had by all.

After dinner, my SiL (a nurse) diagnosed my DH's leg, which has been hurting him all week and is a bit swollen. We both thought it was related to his recent bout of airline travel. This morning, we managed to convince him to go to the ER and after four hours there we found out he has deep vein thrombosis (his is a blood clot behind his knee). It can kill ya, but luckily his was caught early. SiL is the head ER nurse, so we got treated like freaking royalty, which was helpful, as the DH has lot of doctor anxiety.

He has to take blood thinners for six months, plus I have to inject him with SUPER blood thinners twice a day for a week. He will have to go the docs every few days to have his blood tested for a while. Scary. We drove home and are now kinda collapsed and I am about to google DVT like a maniac.
