I gave her everything... jewels, beautiful dresses -- with beautiful girls in them.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Kathy, your hair looks great! Very pretty color, and very flattering on you.

I have the non-matchy-eyebrows problem myself, as my hair is now red but my eyebrows are dark and must stay that way, else my face seems to disappear. I say "problem" but in truth I don't care.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What they all said, Kathy--it looks great!

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Thanks, everyone! Looking in the bathroom mirror, it looks a bit darker than that picture, so I'm still a tad iffy. I was going to wait until Wednesday to go for a swim (definitely wearing a swim cap)--does that sound long enough?

Good luck on the date, Suzi!!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Kathy, that's a terrific color!

Everyone in my household changed their hair today, except for Aeryn since she hasn't got any. But Ethan took Dylan to the barber shop where they both got haircuts (Dylan's first non-me cut!), then Ethan shaved off half his beard while I dyed my hair back to blue. Whew!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ethan shaved off half his beard

...not clicking on ita's link for fear of what sort of crazy shaved beard picture she might produce...

I do have some great bad-date stories. Heck, I even have some great GOOD-date stories that didn't end up going anywhere. But I have to agree with Jesse, mostly first dates that don't go well are just boring. Or sometimes disappointing if you had hopes.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm so sorry, Burrell.

You look great, Kathy.

I think my future husband was in the movie theatre in the row in front of me, except he didn't ask me to marry him. This is a problem.

You can always stalk him.

There was a guy being interviewed whose North Georgia home had survived the tornadoes, but he had 10 acres of twisted and broken trees. He said, "I'm not sure what to do next. This is my first disaster."

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Re: that monkeytail thing. What the fuck?? I don't understand.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I lived. He is cool. No real instant sparkage, but potential second date worthy.
