Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I'm tired, and I read this
My area's under a tornado watch
As "tomato watch."
Which is probably no less deadly.
For the record, the plastic covers that come with Boston Market meals? Highly not microwave proof. The trays themselves? Less disastrously so.
One of the gourmet supermarkets near me keeps doing this thing where they put out an expensive cheese ($17.99/lb is expensive, a bit, right?) and fig spread, and I always fall for it. But it's so fucking good.
I have a tiny container of it, in a grind that was described as "velvet salt".
I really need salt in that grind. It takes too much effort for me to grind it into dust myself. Well, no. Not so much effort to do, effort to remember that I want to do it.
and I always fall for it.
Yep.
I need to not be looking at sock dreams right now. I need to have nothing in my shopping cart.
Goat cheese and fig preserves (or fresh figs if in season) is of the gods.
We're under a tornado watch too.
Pool closed until quarter too. Kid had an accident of some sort in the pool. Just hope storms don't roll through after that.
Pollen is awful out there. My air passages are raw and I don't really have allergies.
Raw milk gouda. Delicious, but my mouth is oversensitive from finishing up the salt and vinegar chips from yesterday. Bad call.
