Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wow, that's shitty, smonster. Now I'm looking at our policy and it says "an employee who terminates employment will be paid for accrued vacation time," which makes me wonder what about if the company terminates the employee.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

So, anyone doing anything special on May 21st? That's the end of the world, in case you forgot. Also, it's on a Saturday.

Well, crap. Totally forgot about that. Why am I job hunting? I think I will now stop that silly business.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Hey, Steph, when you come by, do you know of any good visual resources for ropework? I'm not looking to tie, I'm looking to draw.

I can give you better links once I'm home, but off the top of my head, if you google Two Knotty Boys, they have an extensive site with lots of ties. I don't know if their ties are fancy shibari (Eastern ropework; google "shibari chest harness" for one example) or Western ropework (less visually artistic, more tie-the-damsel-to-the-railroad-tracks, which has a certain appeal), or both.

I definitely have links bookmarked at home, so I'll peruse later and throw some your way.

t edit What are you looking for? Fancy, utilitarian, both?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

(shaking my head)

I'm sorry smonster. This is not right or fair. You'd think they'd at least give you partial payment. Shitty.

Did y'all see that VegNews put out an apology and said they'll only use custom vegan photographs from now on? Huh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know enough to even answer your question, Steph. I did see a fairly intricate arms-tied-together-behind-the-back picture that I've now lost, but I'd have no idea if it qualifies as shibari or not.

Also, pictures of men tied up would be *highly* appreciated.

Fuck, I have so much to do today, and so little energy with which to do it. My head hurts so badly. No meds, playing the weekly chase. Last week I had to get a neurologist I didn't even know to refill them. The process is too broken to be called a process.

I wasn't sure if you wanted references for the kind of quick tie-'em-up ties you'd see in TV or movies when a bad guy is caught (or a good guy caught). I think I was thinking of your fanart.

That said, I can definitely give you links for non-fancy ties as well as shibari (which is also *quite* functional; just also pretty while being restrictive).

Also, pictures of men tied up would be *highly* appreciated.

Oh, I can definitely help you there. (Note: not pictures of Tim. I'm not sure I have any of him tied up, anyway. The only time I think to grab the camera is when a cat decides to interfere, because that is COMEDY GOLD.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yeah, that is not a process. That is just fucked up.

In local news, there were reports of a guy with a shotgun in a local mall, but it turned out to be an umbrella. It's raining out. Makes me wonder what the guy looked like....

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Yeah.

Maybe it's not a good idea for me to buy that umbrella with a samurai-sword handle.
