Clearly the show slashes them more.

Considering that, in the most recent ep, Danno mimed a "I Heart You" to McGarret, you're absolutely right!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't know if I like McGarrett enough to slash him. And Danno doesn't interact enough with Chin Ho for that to be worthwhile, but it would be visually appealling. I just get no slash vibes off it at all. They're just buds to me.

Which, given the rate and intensity with which I ship, is kinda odd.

OK, I don't slash at all, but that idea of that ship is very very pretty indeed! (Signed, a biiiig DDK fan.)

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Mmmm...just had a snacky plate dinner at home. Summer sausage, truffle cheese, some excellent hard gouda, canteloupe, pineapple, Pink Lady applice slices and red pears, crackers and Dijon mustard.

Easy and yum! Although the cheeses were splurges we got for our anniversary last weekend.

Ok, going to finish this smoke, then grade and work on lesson plans. Dammit, and I wanted to watch the Burn Notice Sam movie with DH tonight. Ah, well, I should have graded a few papers instead of napping for a half hour yesterday.

Spring break in a week, right? RIGHT?!

the Folger Shakespeare Library

Oh, I so wanted to get the job to scan their card catalog when my company converted them to a digital catalog.

I got to go to the Huntington, instead, so it wasn't a complete loss.

Chin Ho spends all his time interacting with his cousin. No shipping potential there for me. Sadface.

Man, I don't have a free spot on my dual tuner for the Sam Axe prequel until next Saturday. I watch too much TV.

My dinner was the last of the cassoulet I had with the other Chicagoistas back on the 1st (I put it in the freezer while I was at Mom's, and it froze really well). Yum!

I also pulled out of the freezer the chili I had made at the end of March to let it defrost before tomorrow so I could pack it up for lunch. I think tomorrow night I'm going to make up some lemon chicken for dinner for the week.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My dinner was a grilled cheese sandwich. I still have a bad cold and cough. It might be bronchitis. I'm still unwilling to go to a doctor, however. I've spent the entire day reading BBCHolmes/Watson fanfic. This may not have been the best use of my time. OTOH, I'm sick, dammit. I should be resting, right? Right here on the sofa.

Our wings are not tired.

Erin, how did the meeting with HR go? Smoothly I hope?

All that said, I reiterate: you gotta do what you're comfortable with. If you feel more secure knowing the dudes who work on cars all day every day have gotten under the hood and fixed stuff up, that's what you should do. Because -- let me be clear -- the MAF sensor is honestly about the ONLY car maintenance/tinkering I've done.

I intend to ask about the MAF sensor. They seem to think the O2 sensor is completely borked, but it should be an easy for thing for them to check and I can go by their shop before I authorize the expensive fix.

Cool. It would be excellent if it were an easy, cheap fix.

You are an adult and can make your own decision. But a doctor will give you the good cough suppressant. IJS.
