You got all kinds of learnin' and you made me look the fool without tryin', and yet here I am with a gun to your head. That's 'cause I got people with me. People who trust each other, who do for each other, and ain't always lookin' for the advantage.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Did you guys know the heart really is the seat of emotions? That's why you feel them in your chest? And you have a brain in your heart. For realsies.

Now I'm curious as to whether heartworms have brains.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

When did pretentious begin to mean factually correct?

When other people didn't know the fact. They can't possibly be ill-informed, therefore we must be pretentious.

I'm okay with pretentious.

ooohhh! I took Noah to church yesterday. It was the feast of St. Francis. There were lots of animals. Sadly no elephants or giraffes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Pretty much...

Be gobsmacked with the unexpected news that I chose St Francis of Assisi for my confirmation name.

hip deep in pie

Deliveries of mole sauce are accepted all over Buffistaland, I'm pretty sure.

I'm not sure how good it is. It tasted a little bitter? Burnt? But I added some lime juice too it, and it doesn't seem as bad now. We'll see how it tastes at supper tomorrow.

IT usually tastes a little burnt from the roasting of the spices. Add citrus and if that makes it to bright, stir in chocolate. If you want to thick, add ground sesame seeds.
