I kissed him, and I told him that I loved him. And I killed him.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

And otters. Man can they play. I wonder if otters and dolphins were in the same environment how they would interact...

wait, sea otters and dolphins do live in the same environment but don't seem to interact much, if my few minutes of internet searching is any indication. Why not? Seems like they'd make great playmates.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

In short, dolphins are like humans and crows in that they're too smart for their own good and really spend a huge amount of time making up their own games to stave off the boredom.

You mean like these crows?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

You mean like these crows?

Exactly: "Yeah, we're just fuckin' with ya."

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

With a big enough touch screen I'll bet dolphins could totally play Angry Birds.

Art Crawl!!!

aurelia - you need to write a grant to test that theory.

What sort of crows are those in the crow incitement video?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I'd like to give an iPad to an octopus. It would have Cashmere's Amazon account hacked faster than Owen.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Suzi - my two cents are to clue him in. Hard.

Took boys to pool. Dominic had an awesome time and ended up playing with a few kids. He's had no formal swimming lessons, but actually has some strokes down really well; he just can't do the breathing yet. I was impressed.

Tyler, well....I think it is a success he managed to work his way up from sulking in a chair to up to his knees. Briefly.

And can I say, if you manage to apply sunscreen to 2 kids, one of whom is fighting you all the way, and then the other makes a beeline for the pool, no matter how you try, you will not get sunscreen applied to yourself terribly effectively. Double ow.

And you'd think, given how they were drooping on the way home, that they'd be spent. No. They are outside playing and riding bikes.

Me? I'm slathered in aloe.

Ooh! Could I get a hunky marine biologist to work with me?
