Aurelia, I'd love to go, but this week is just packed so I can't. Damnit.
I did get a message from my claims adjuster last night; the car is totalled (yay!), but I don't know how much they're going to give me for it yet. Depending on what time I get into work tomorrow, I'll be buying my Mazda either tomorrow night or Friday night.
I do have to make a stop after work tomorrow so I can drop off my grandma's pearls at the jewelers for appraisal. I'm also going to drop off a ring that I'm not too sure if it has real stones or is just a costume ring. If it's costume, I'm going to start wearing it every day, because it's really pretty.
Mom, Jesse is having all the flowers!
Okay, link: [link]
Did I bitch yesterday bout my aesthetician? Because I need to.
Ooh, flowers is nice!
I am slightly irked I got up early for a teleconference that lasted all of NINE MINUTES. On the other hand...I've been in teleconferences that dragged on and on, so I suppose I should be grateful.
I'm not convinced the photos are her.
Publishers Lunch says the writer/creator of
Luther
is going to publish a sort of prequel to the series called
Luther: The Calling.
Interesting.
This morning I spent 45 minutes in a teleconference that was mostly taken up (~30 minutes worth) discussing whether we should have the teleconference. The other 15 minutes were spent trying to make sure everyone knew how to use their mics properly.
Someone email me that link so I can look at it when I am not at work.
The counter-argument from queer people opposed to that is that (1) "queer" = / = all "non-standard" sexuality, and (2) heteroromantic asexuals easily pass for plain old heterosexual and therefore benefit from straight privilege and are not oppressed.
Yes. And #2 is correct. Can you marry any person who you fell in love with legally in all 50 states in the US? Then my violin for you is VERY SMALL, and you need to GET OFF MY LAWN, or I will CUT YOU DED.
