Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sequins can be quite tasteful. It's an Indian cotton skirt in black, and there are a smattering of sequins at the yoke at the top, and some around the hem. I doubt anyone, until pressed, will remember sequins about today's outfit.

I don't think I own anything where the sequins actually touch each other. Maybe I should redress that.

Man, I hate being late for this meeting. No tea til it's over, so no Bramley mini apple pies yet.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

People with cars, help me out here - my mother has offered to give me her 10-year old car (as a "loan" where basically it's my car but I can't sell it to anyone else) so I'm pricing out insurance. None of Geico's prebuilt packages include comprehensive or collision, but I'm thinking those are kind of important? Am I wrong?

People I know with old cars only get liability since the value of the car is so low at that point.

Consider dropping collision and/or comprehensive coverages on older cars. If your car is worth less than 10 times the premium, purchasing the coverage may not be cost effective.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Jessica,

if the car gets totaled, does your mother assume the financial loss? or do you?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, for a ten year old car I'd skip those.

Because books.

Yeah, for a ten year old car I'd skip those.

That's what I was going to say. It's really a new car thing.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Happy Birthday, P-C!!!

Now tagless for your comfort.

With a 10 year old car, I'd really just look at liability coverage as well. Comprehensive for replacing the car itself and the cost of insurance often over time can cost more than the replacement value of the car.

Note: not REPLACING the vehicle itself because that always costs more but they will only pay you the value of the car on the claim--then its up to you to find another car of comparable value/quality with that amount. Which is hard to do with a reliable older car with low mileage.
