Thanks gang! Ginger's suggestion got the wheels in my head turning and led me to this, which seems perfect for the task at hand: [link]
Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Ginger and Amy make good suggestions.
I also like the Courreges hat.
Another variation on the Carnaby Street look.

Oh, you can never go wrong with Lady Penelope.
This weekend tried to kill me, I think. I just calculated how many round trips I make picking up and dropping off the youngest at school and since Friday morning at 6:30 I have made 10 round trips to school, my husband did 1 and my daughter did 1. That's a week's worth of driving in 3 days... yuk!
On the upside, I made chicken piccata and roasted rosemary potatoes for dinner tonight. Man, it was good, if I do say so myself.
And here we go with the finished product: [link]
Super Mod, Matt!
That sounds better than the Trader Joe's pizza I had for dinner!
It was the zucchini-corn-lime-cilantro pizza recipe from Arizmendi. Came out fantastic, but I take no credit for its success (and I left the second pizza in the oven too long, so it got a little carbonated). Arizmendi can do no wrong, so far as pizza is concerned.
And then javachik & Tom got to enjoy the wonder that is black raspberry ice cream. NOM.
Thursday is my last herceptin infusion
Yay!
I talked to my parents this evening and the first thing my mom wanted to know is how close to the Sears tower I'll be working this week. Sigh. The only notable things about downtown Chicago today were the big ass flag on the Wrigley Building, the Emergency Management SUV parked next to the water tower and the fact that ALL the sailboats were out on Lake Michigan.
I wonder when it will be safe to surf the web.
Yay Aurelia!
I was very productive today. I cleaned the kitchen, did dishes, put dishes away, took out trash and recycling, cleaned litterboxes, did three loads of laundry, put away pile of clean laundry, read a bit more of Pride and Prejudice, took care of some work emails, created emailing lists for my junior and senior parents so I could send newsletters I put together about the beginning of the year, and verified that the two courses I'd submitted to the UCs for approval has been approved. I would like a bubble bath and a massage now, please.
