I bought the Torani Vanilla syrup, and I have some decent beans, so I just brewed a super-strong batch of coffee. Syrup goes first over a glass FULL of ice, then coffee half full, then milk to the top. Stir, and enjoy.

I have a green chile pork stew in the crockpot -- any an all are buffistas are invited to have some -- hatch chiles + beer + spices and tomatillos + pork. YUM. I would make sopapillas but it seems like too much work.

I also made a ton of chocolate cake, including a sheet cake to serve as the base for the angry birds cake. We have used 4 lbs of buttercream so far to ice the playing field. Now we need chocolate icing for the launching area and we still don't have a slingshot for the birds itself. Ideas for slingshots?
