Now tagless for your comfort.

I wish I could get skating lessons here, but the only rink we have doesn't offer them. It's such great exercise.

The Mad Rollin' Dolls have a rec league called the Mad Wreckin' Dolls if you want to get some good exercise!

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Those shoes give me the willies!

Run, ice bath, laundry, bloodbath & beyond -- done. Naptime!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

green chile pork stew in the crockpot -- any an all are buffistas are invited to have some -- hatch chiles + beer + spices and tomatillos + pork.

This is almost my dinner! Except Trader Joes didn't have any fresh chiles, so I'm going to have to improvise with canned jalapenos. And I need to use up zucchini, so that's going in too.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Good karate class today. I'm tuckered though.

I need to go through my CSA veggies and get cooking. I have a huge squash (not obscene, though), some beans, spinach, and, ummm, some other stuff.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I so want to eat at Kat's!

I'm unnaturally excited about this cake.

I'm excited about it too. I think everyone who's been following along with the construction is excited.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

For me, what I call "Irish-Jewish pot roast stew" is in the crockpot. Chuck roast cut in single serving portions, potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions. (liguid, red wine and olive oil. Spices: salt, pepper, bay leaves, garlic, black pepper )

Still undecided: marjoram yes or no?

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I say marjoram yes! But I like marjoram.

This morning I ate homemade grape jelly on bread machine wheat bread for breakfast. Then I went to the farmers market. Haul: 20 pounds of tomatoes, sweet corn, grass-fed flank steak.

Tomatoes are now sauce that is reducing. But I am now officially concerned about the concert and/or church this evening, because I think I probably have a good hour or two more just of reducing, let alone the actual canning, and the concert starts at five.

Okay, structural integrity issues with cake. Must go get a drill to fix.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Anyone else ever have a transaction cancelled on eBay for no specified reason? I paid via PayPal, which has my correct address. Then she emailed me that the gloves had been returned; turned out she'd used a completely wrong address. I gave her the right address, and now, two weeks later, she's cancelled the transaction, with apologies and no explanation. If she can't send the gloves, okay, but I'd like to know why I'm not getting what I bought and paid for.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

contact the seller and say so. if you are still dissatisfied, contact ebay. this is not supposed to occur.
