Because books.

What Gud said! I ordered blue lip-print temp tattoos as giveaways, and they came out really well.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

So that means someone realizes that you have a true need and you won't have to fight for your meds each week? Or am I being too optimistic?

Well, it means they won't be able to punk out with an "It's too HARD to get a line, are you sure you need them?" excuse anymore.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

OMG, my office is deserted and I'm sleepy and I have a shitton of work I should do before leaving for the long weekend. Feh.

My "office" is also deserted. Just two lazy napping cats to keep me company. And man, do I want to join them in nappage.

I should put on my gi and put in some time at the dojo, even though I don't have a class. I just feel like I should up my training for the next two weeks.

Our office was only about 15 percent full to begin with (a big part of the company had the day off), and it's been emptying out even more since 1:00. All of the managers at this office are gone for the day already, but I'm sticking around until 4:30 since my own manager might still be working at the downtown office (she usually goes home around 4:00 to walk her dog).

Miss Nancy from Romper Room has died. I remember waiting for her to list my name when she looked through her magic mirror.

There are way too many people here this afternoon. Go home, people, so I can slack off without anyone noticing! My boss at least is gone.

I took an unintentionally long lunch: hit the bank and the farmer's market, then spent fifteen minutes waiting for two very good fish tacos. NOM.

And now I have a mess of fruit and two ears of corn for dinner.

On another occasion, the show had booked a trained mynah bird named "Raja" who refused to talk — until the very end of the show.

"Nancy turned to the bird and asked Raja if he had any last words for the boys and girls," Patten said. "As the camera zoomed in for a close-up, Raja looked straight into the lens and blurted out, 'one martini, please.'"

Hah!
