One of the comments on the very nice card everyone signed for my 10th anniversary here was one thanking me for being the "mom of the office." Oh, man. It hurt because I think I'm Pam, but I guess to the 24-year-olds here, I'm Phyllis.
Oxford Ohio to Athens GA
For a second there, I thought you said you were going to be in Athens, Ohio, and I was going to tell you to look up my aunt and uncle there--she's a teacher at Ohio University.
I was 11 years old in 1977
I was ten! Movies I saw in theaters include: Star Wars, Grease (multiple times), Saturday Night Fever, and Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (also several times, sadly).
This weekend, I foresee a lot of lying around the house, reading and watching some TV. I'm hoping I feel well enough at some point to (a) go to the National Folk Festival, and (b) eat some ice cream. We shall see! Tomorrow's supposed to be a high of 100 degrees, so I'm thinking Sunday (at a mere 92) is a better bet for the festival.
As for this weekend, my DH just got back a few minutes ago from a week-long trip. He was only home two nights before that after ANOTHER long trip. I am planning on making out like crazed weasels, in addition to lounging around while he walks the dogs and cooks and does all the stuff I have to do while he's away.

Aw, this made me laugh, but I'm sorry you feel that way. FWIW, though I love Phyllis, there ain't nothing Phyllis-like about you!
eating ice cream with Teppy

My blue lips tattoos came!
Ehh?
Tomorrow I go get my hair colored, finally.
YAYAYAYAYAY!!
I'm scheduling a portacath insertion. The nurses have won.
So that means someone realizes that you have a true need and you won't have to fight for your meds each week? Or am I being too optimistic?
