The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I am going to be in Hawaii in 50 days!

Not that I am counting or anything.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

The team meeting I have in 8 minutes will involve roleplaying.

I recommend Chaotic Neutral.

Teppy beat me to it. Good luck rolling THACO.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I just got booted from the meeting. Apparently you're not supposed to be in one with someone with whom you have a reporting relationship, and I was sitting next to my boss. It's supposed to encourage frankness, but honestly, I'd have been frank. With this boss, anyway.

Still, I got 90 minutes back for now.

Hold off on the d20.

Fuck cancer. KCD's wife's step-father just passed away. Not that I've ever met the man, but still. Fuck cancer.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Sorry, Suzi.

The following quote is gleaned from a baseball blog but I thought it was worth sharing. The first person is talking about a woman he saw at a minor league baseball game where Deion Sanders was playing.

First poster: She was impressive, had the kind of posture that looks like she had just stepped off of a ship's prow.

Second poster: One millihelen: the amount of beauty required to launch a single ship.

Apropos of nothing, I used to have a massive crush on Deion Sanders. I don't know what that was about.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Timelies all!

Just waiting to see what Irene has in store for us.(Other than rain. That's pretty much a given) We have a bunch of batteries for flashlights and my boombox.

Because books.

The one I loved was Bo. Bo ... I forget his last name. Maybe I didn't like him that much after all. Crap. They did those "Bo Knows" ads with him.

Bo Jackson. He played a bunch of sports I don't watch. Like Deion.

I miss the decathlon.

Not that it's gone anywhere.
