Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

information libertarian

My sister and I just had an epic chat this evening that involved the hurricane, the house in Cape Cod, the fact that my mother is in Hungary, and breaking into my mother's email (we guessed her password on the first try.) So now Nutty has the email address of the tenant coming in Saturday at noon, and can check to see if said tenant is still planning to come, and of so give her hurricane advice and if not go down there tomorrow night and batten down the hatches.

Now tagless for your comfort.

DH once told me that the insurance losses in Connecticut would beat any hurricane damage in the Southern Coastal states because of high property values.

I really hope she veers out to sea and barely brushes the coast.

OMG, someone stop me from shopping. Talbots have 50% off everything in their sale and clearance sections and I have a skirt, dress and pair of pants in my shopping cart for under $100. So can't afford. So don't need.

But it's an Gambian pouched rat [link] They've detected more than 1,600 mines. They detect TB.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thank you, Sara you just reminded me that we have to get our deck furniture and grill in the house somehow. Might have to disassemble the furniture because it won't fit through the sliding glass door.

(I love inflight wifi.)

Shrift, I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet up. I had no f2f time this time around. The good thing is the next time I come to Chicago it will only be for personal reasons. One week until my last day with current company.

Oh, and the NDA and non compete? My CEO waived it for me. Now the other company has to put up or shut up. May be too late though, but it is a nice feeling to know I'm that respected.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, Maria, that's pretty awesome! Good luck with other company.

Stay safe, people in hurricane's path.
