I think I'll pick up some D cells if I can get my swim in tomorrow. Now wishing I'd already sprung for a new laptop battery (will bring work computer home) but if the power goes out, I lose dsl thus internet. Maybe I'll ask for a ups for xmas. (My dad bought one when they went all cable, including phone.)
