Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Our wings are not tired.

The whole premise is stupid anyway, since free doesn't pay the rent. So even if you would do something for free, who the fuck cares? You still need to pay the rent/mortgage and eat.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Poking my lurky head in to add for zuisa - headbands, scarves, ribbons, clips, cute barrettes. You can change the shape of what the hair is doing, plus give the eye (others' or your own in the mirror) another focus aside from the troublesome haircut.

And of course, run, don't walk from a stylist that makes you feel bad about yourself in ANY way, let alone multiple ways. What an ass.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

What would you do for free?

Drink beer and eat food and tell people about it.

Well you must find out what it is and quit your job so you can do it. You will enjoy your work much more and will become an expert in your field.

I'm on it! Except for the part that's ludicrously bullshit.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I read a post today by some douche who said that the poor stay poor due to depravity. PICK YOURSELF UP BY YOUR BOOTSTRAPS.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I can't work out where the company picnic is. I mean, there's a location on the invite, and I've googled the exact text, and it comes up three times on the entire internets, in PDFs about the city--but they don't say where it is.

I am missing something incredibly obvious.

I am also having a massive headache. I really don't think I'm up for this.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Fruit: I had an apple with lunch, and had a small handful of trail mix that was mainly raisins.

I wish I knew what the hell I did to my left knee that is making it hurt everytime I get up or sit down or move it a bit. It's not swollen. Feels almost like it's bruised deep down. Ugh. I'll just keep taking Advil until it feels better.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I think I would be a super great librarian, but that is not a job growth area.

Tell me about it.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Ahahahaha! Yeah, umm. The universe is not going to pay me to watch Doctor Who and discuss issues such as Morrissey: coy closet case or cunning cultural appropriator?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Morrissey: coy closet case or cunning cultural appropriator?

PhD in cultural studies and voila! it might?

But yeah. Most of what I want to do is sit around and nap.

I would do what I do for free. Or you couldn't pay me enough money in the world to do it. Depends on the day.

I get this. But I wouldn't do what I do for free.

Holey moley, it's 101 out. I hate the hot weather.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Bail on the picnic, ita. If anyone asks why you weren't there, you couldn't find it.

What would you do for free? Well you must find out what it is and quit your job so you can do it.

Oh, I see, I did that in the wrong order. I did the quitting part, but I seem to have fallen down on the finding out what I'd do for free part. Actually, there are a lot of things I'm willing to do for free as long as I don't have to do them very well. Or very often. Or with any sort of accountability.

It's nice that that sort of approach works out for some people.
