Dried cranberries in my oatmeal, handful of cherries, a peach on the brink of over-ripe.
Allyson, what everyone said. Your car is your independence in most locations. We don't live near enough to the grocer, the post office, the library, work, really, any of the places we need to go regularly, to be able to live a foot-propelled lifestyle. Public transit is most often inadequate. For most of us, a car's a necessity. This situation is unacceptable, and you're forcing them to deal with it before it becomes a widespread problem. You're good.
Suzi, I am awed at your composure with CJ bleeding so dramatically. All best thoughts to him--and you!
Sophia, I agree you need to actually work with her a bit before you begin to worry. Chances are the two of you will work out a relationship that works. The best boss I ever had was a raging hormonal bitch--I just knew where the land mines were buried and how to avoid them. Our relationship was practically telepathic, and when she got promoted to the state office, we learned that we'd ruined each other for highly effective working relationships.
Hi. I've been here. Some days it's hard to make the fingers work.
I had a couple handfuls of blueberries, and raisins in my steelcut oatmeal.
I spent a while arguing with my mother - she couldn't understand why I didn't buy a place. When I tried to show her what places in town cost, she told me to move to the suburbs. Then I'd point out I'd need a car - which would make a place in the suburbs about as expensive as a place in town, if not more so (car payments, gas, parking, insurance). She didn't realize how much she relied on a car until they took away her driver's license (this from a woman who used to drive the two blocks to pick up her mail and then drive back).
I had about a cup of wild blueberries. I found a tiny wriggling worm at the bottom of the container.
I am gladdened to see how fruitful you all are.
Are you all multiplying as well?
Has anybody indulged in any arithmetic function this morning?
I found a tiny wriggling worm at the bottom of the container.
Plus protein. A gift with purchase. I think worms are low in polyunsaturated fats.
There were tomatoes in my sandwich. And blueberries in my jam at breakfast....
I had a banana and a peach!
I've done an accounts receivable spreadsheet and bar graph on booked jobs through year-end, also currently working on personal budget numbers so I can tell the current employers what I actually need to have this be a job I can stay in. Lots of multiplying and dividing and adding.
I am so bummed with myself. I have overspent my budget by $300 this month, basically just because I could not resist doing home improvements. Granted I am doing these things myself versus hiring them out and thus saving money in one way, but I really did not need to by the paint for my garage this month.
