I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I've done an accounts receivable spreadsheet and bar graph on booked jobs through year-end, also currently working on personal budget numbers so I can tell the current employers what I actually need to have this be a job I can stay in. Lots of multiplying and dividing and adding.

I am so bummed with myself. I have overspent my budget by $300 this month, basically just because I could not resist doing home improvements. Granted I am doing these things myself versus hiring them out and thus saving money in one way, but I really did not need to by the paint for my garage this month.

I have a fruit tip for everybody: Peaches are in season!

Super delicious right now.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Has anybody indulged in any arithmetic function this morning?

Only arithmetic, or do trigonometric and transcendental count, too?

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

No fruit yet today, although I will probably get some for lunch, depending on if they only have melon left on the fruit part of the salad bar (yuck, melon!). I did have lots of fruit (for me) yesterday, though--a banana in the afternoon, some grapes with my hardboiled eggs at lunch, and raisins in the trail mix I snacked on later in the afternoon.

Not here. I grew up thinking I hated peaches. Then I went to a summer program in San Luis Obispo and tried some peaches from the farmers market, and loved them. I have not yet found any east coast peaches that even approach that level of goodness. The farmers markets here do have peaches, but they're just OK. And the supermarket ones still taste horrible to me.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Has anybody indulged in any arithmetic function this morning?

Not this morning, but yesterday I finished a spreadsheet that takes measurements in inches, computes the lengths you need to draft a bodice, sleeve and skirt pattern black, and makes them available in centimeters and fractions. I am pretty proud. I just hope I chose a method that will work fairly well.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I am awed at your composure

Heh, not so sure about composure. I'm pretty good during an emergency, but I tend to fall apart after. Plus right now I'm living in denial that there is a chance of a bigger issue.

I had a peach!

And I've been doing math all morning, even explaining it to other people. And for some reason my Excel has decided I need to hit F9 everytime I change a number (it forces the spreadsheet to recalculate instead of it doing it automatically).
