ebay is CRACK. I love it. It's where my vintage shit comes from too, the slips and the shirt dresses and the scooter dresses--search terms and search alerts is where it's at.
Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
is there much of a difference between girdles and Spanx?
No.
I really need to dig out that video of Jon Hamm playing Lysander from our college days.
I honestly, straight up, want a chainmail bra.
They're pretty cool. I wouldn't turn one down if someone gave me one, but my budget for Impractical Clothes That Make My Boobs Look Great tends to run to corsets.

I have the fake kinkiest life. What's up with that?
Speaking of which, Steph, I can't find shibaru in Los Angeles. San Diego, yes. LA, no. That doesn't seem right.
I think I just need to get a sewing machine and learn to sew. Thanks, -t. Another case of I know what I want, I just can't find it (and I've seen it before.)
You know, I'm a moron. My neighbor ( of the purple sink) works in interior design in DC. High end, but he'd know where to go even for the cheap. He's worked on classy high end, and middle eastern oil wealth tacky high end. Seriously, I've seen the pictures of a swaroski(?) crystal encrusted toilet. It was as insane as it sounds. It was AWFUL. Cost approaching 30Gs. How the hell would you clean that thing? Exterior, not interior. Interior was custom done to look like platinum. And it did. But still. It was fugly and insane.
Speaking of which, Steph, I can't find shibaru in Los Angeles.
That's unpossible!
Wait. I'm pretty sure Master K is in LA. He's got to have something going on. Or the larger general kink groups might have rope sub-groups (no pun intended). Let me look.
There's a group on FL called So Cal Shibari. It looks like their events rotate between LA and points south of LA. There's gotta be more, though.
