Mycroft is playing attack with one of my flip-flops. I think this started as blissing out on foot-smell (ewwwww!!) and then he figured out that he could hook a front paw through the thong part and flip it up in the air and pounce. Adorable. Brain like a peanut, but completely adorable.
Mycroft is a Loki/Switch double. BTW, Loki has a shoe fetish too.

42. It wasn't until a friend I was reconnecting with said he was about to turn 41, and I couldn't work out why we were suddenly so distant in age.
At least part of my weird moods are having me reconnect with people I know I like. Still, I'm weirding me out.

Desert rain! Oh, monsoon, I am so glad I didn't miss you entirely. However, lightning, I am still afraid of you. I have lived out here too long not to be freaked out by you.
Yesterday, driving through Kansas/Oklahoma/Texas, it hit 108. Right now, at home in the desert, it is 79.
The Biscuit is scared of the thunderstorm but can't figure out if he needs to comfort me or be comforted by the SO, so he keeps pacing back and forth between us.
