Ooh, I haven't seen Switched at Birth. I don't think I knew it was a TV series; for some reason I assumed it was a TV movie when I saw the ads.
I do have to fess up to having seen every single episode of Pretty Little Liars, though.

I am a little nervous, because it is Paul Stupin (show runner of Dawson's Creek post Kevin Williamson), but I have to say that I think Emmett might rival Pacey.
He is completely adorable.
The thing I had to get notarized today was actually the contract selling the rights to the bombed YA series I did with Penguin and a book packager back when ... right when I joined the board, actually. It's for ABC Family! Now to see if they ever actually produce it.
I kind of like that the new formula for teen shows seems to be
1. Acquire rights to YA series
2. Cast pretty young people
3. ?????
4. PROFIT.

You know they're starting "The Lying Game" by the same author tonight, right? I haven't read Pretty Little Liars, but I have read Lying Game. Though sounds like the premise of the show is slightly tweaked from the book.
Amy, that's great! Don't you love the smell of signed contracts in the morning?
-t and Ginger, thanks for the food info. Most things do seem to be all right, but the meat and frozen dinners won't be getting a chance to make me sick. (I'm secretly pleased. I didn't want to eat the frozen dinners and I'm glad to have an excuse to throw them out!)
Amy, if (when) the show gets picked up, I will watch every single episode. Because not only am I a sucker for all teen shows, I also am a sucker for Buffistas in the media.
Awesome, Amy.
We don't actually make any money unless the show actually gets produced, so my excitement is sort of limited right now. I think it's cool, and it could be a good show (it's a post-apocalyptic thing -- sort of The Stand meets Survivor with teens), but the book series was a huge nightmare, and my original idea got so twisted that I didn't even write the last few books. So.
But thank you! And believe me, if the show does get made, I will happily cash checks.
Oh sweet, Amy.
