I had no idea Tillamook made ice cream: this must be something they started after I left PDX. Bastards.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Blah blah, preemie, blah blah I mention a friend who had twins (Kat, but not her name), he says "yeah, I have a friend blah blah Noah and Grace". I was like "WHOAH, wait, who is your friend?!?" Turns out he knows Katie from college! Seriously small world.

Crazy small world.

No WinCo, no problem... (I hate them. I shop there but I hate them. It's a Thing with me.)

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Relevant ice cream story: ne of my local friends was chastised by a complete stranger at the grocery store for buying Breyer's ice cream. The lady yelled at her to buy the "ice cream of our mother land" and tossed some Tillamook at her. Sadly, the Breyers was on sale and the Tillamook wasn't and a $3 price difference meant she did not buy the ice cream of our mother land on that occasion. But it is delightful.

Really? Really?

I mean, it's delicious and I like when people buy it, but...

Humans are fucking crazy, man.

LOL. People have fascinating hangups. Now every time we have any kind of Tillamook dairy product it is proudly held aloft as the product of the MotherLand.

Their sour cream is pretty revelatory, but I still don't think people NEEEEEEEEEED to eat their stuff.

I fail at being dogmatic.

Ooooh, puppies!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now tagless for your comfort.

I would suggest Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream but it's only sold in Oakland, San Jose and a couple of places in San Francisco.

I'm currently stuck on our local soft serve place called Belts. They do a flavor of the week soft serve and it's pretty heavenly.

Now I want ice cream. I'm biting my nails through the Wisconsin election results and trying to work on our annual trivia contest pictures.

I'm going to take a moment to point out that a local fantasy author is Wearing an awesome t-shirt in a photo from his book signing. It says, "Joss Whedon is my master now."
