Well, I have very little control over water temperature at work.

Oh, if it isn't the con tea I'm not so concerned
I like that you're looking out for me.
I'm a little surprised my mall has two dedicated tea stores, and the one I got the white tea from is priced about half as expensive as the con store, and the sell is half as hard.
But I don't think I like the tea as much...
OMG, someone on IO9 said something like "I just started watching Buffy. Does it get good, like, you know, Firefly or Supernatural?" I had mild apoplexy. I like IO9, but their appreciation of what I like is weighted in all the wrong places. Wrong seasons of Buffy (3?), or Supernatural (4?), wrong episodes of Firefly (not OOG? HDU?). I may have spieled.
Looks like WX is down ahead of time. So, you know, if you wanted something you might have missed it. I'm gonna miss that crazy board. I had made peace with the shit about it that I didn't like. And I hate new stuff.
Is LJ down too? I couldn't get pages to load on the phone las night and it doesn't seem to be loading from my laptop today either.
ETA: except now it seems okay from the computer. Still nothing on the phone. "The server failed to communicate."
This site says it's just you, brenda. But it's been getting DDoSed a lot recently.
I see the Republican plan for the 2012 and beyond budget is tax cuts for the highest incomes and covering fewer poor via Medicaid and pretty much dismantling Medicare. Awesome.
Brenda, LJ was acting strangely for me yesterday as well. It seems okay today, though.
I seem OK on the computer, but not on the phone. This is seriously hampering my ability to read fic.
I think it's Nonian's birthday ... if so, happy day, Nonian!
LJ was acting strangely for me yesterday as well.
There's some indication about the DDOS being something about an assault on some of the Russian bloggers; whether it's the Russian government or just some hackers pissed off, nobody seems to know.
I understand that in Russia, the word for "blogging" is the word for LJ: that's how big LJ is in Russia. And, tangentially, that's why the LJ customer service on the English-speaking side has slipped. They don't actually care if we walk off to Wordpress or Dreamwidth: they've got an enormous market in Russia and don't really need the English-language part of the site.
Or so I hear, anyway.
Many, many people are wrong on the internet.
Last night's storm finished destroying a trellis that a branch partially squashed a few months ago. It's going to take a while to undo the tangled mess of vines. Blerg.
