I see the Republican plan for the 2012 and beyond budget is tax cuts for the highest incomes and covering fewer poor via Medicaid and pretty much dismantling Medicare. Awesome.

Brenda, LJ was acting strangely for me yesterday as well. It seems okay today, though.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I seem OK on the computer, but not on the phone. This is seriously hampering my ability to read fic.

Because books.

I think it's Nonian's birthday ... if so, happy day, Nonian!

LJ was acting strangely for me yesterday as well.

There's some indication about the DDOS being something about an assault on some of the Russian bloggers; whether it's the Russian government or just some hackers pissed off, nobody seems to know.

I understand that in Russia, the word for "blogging" is the word for LJ: that's how big LJ is in Russia. And, tangentially, that's why the LJ customer service on the English-speaking side has slipped. They don't actually care if we walk off to Wordpress or Dreamwidth: they've got an enormous market in Russia and don't really need the English-language part of the site.

Or so I hear, anyway.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Many, many people are wrong on the internet.

Last night's storm finished destroying a trellis that a branch partially squashed a few months ago. It's going to take a while to undo the tangled mess of vines. Blerg.

I am so tired of being sick. I was nearly asleep at my desk yesterday afternoon: I ended up standing at my desk for some time to keep from just nodding off. When I got home, I forced myself to stay awake long enough to finish a book I was reading, and then went to bed at 9. And I slept through to 7:30.

And I'm still tired, and I think I have a sinus infection again. And because of the job change, I don't have a doctor I can call.

Bah.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, so is Angel S5 better than S2? I'm a little disgruntled at the suggestion, but maybe I should rewatch.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I made it into the office today! Woot? I'm running out of steam, but am determined to make it to at least noon. Unless my lungs need a neb treatment before then.

Yesterday was pathetic. I loaded up the car with some stuff for Goodwill, drove over there, and unloaded it, and I was DONE. Lungs were tight as heck and I hadn't really done much. So frustrating.

Luckily the Goodwill drop off is next to the dojo, so I hung out there for a bit and snuggled a 2.5 month old baby. Almost as effective as a neb treatment.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Angel S2 is the best season of any Whedon show.
