he thought his soulmate was his best friend's sister who was 7 years when they met (I think he met her when he was 15 or 18 so there was a 10-12 year age difference. He said he was planning to wait for her, let her grow up and experience the world, but he always thought they would end up married.
Isn't that part of the plot of the last sparkly vampire book? Like, the werewolf falls in love with the newborn vampire? (That last question is one of the weirdest ones I've ever asked.)

Yuck.
I just hate the whole idea of soulmates. I mean, the version where there's one person in the whole world for you. I think that idea can really fuck someone up.
I think an MBA should prepare you for the time question, not the chocolate question!
That said, yes, I would think 24 business hours would be 3 days. Or something. If you mean one day, you might say "next business day" or "one business day". The reports I have to write when I do travel are due by the 5th business day (except this new project they're due by the 7th calendar day. Which is usually the same, but not always--doesn't include holidays)

Heh. I suspect you've asked even weirder questions about Batman....
That's why I clarified! I was thinking about managing employee expectations wrt rewards for job performance. FTR, I would be unsure what "24 business hours" means if I read it in a contract, but probably take it to be three business days.

Even with the whole punching-a-hole-in-reality thing AND Batman: Odyssey, I still think I haven't.
I'd probably assume that 24 business hours was "next business day" rather than "if it's on a Saturday you're contractually fucked". More importantly, though, I'd read it as "clarify this".
Yes, Tep. That whole last book? super-gross.
I still feel somewhat violated by my knowledge of it. Which, if you consider the things I generally pursue knowledge of, is fairly impressive, don't you think?

Yeah, your assumption was my coworker's. It took six weeks or some shit to get the contract amended and approved, and everyone let this slide, so I did, too!
My great-grandfather met my great-grandmother when he was 31 and she was 8. He waited until she graduated from college (in 1907) and then married her. All 4 of their daughters hated him.
