That's why I clarified! I was thinking about managing employee expectations wrt rewards for job performance. FTR, I would be unsure what "24 business hours" means if I read it in a contract, but probably take it to be three business days.

Yeah, your assumption was my coworker's. It took six weeks or some shit to get the contract amended and approved, and everyone let this slide, so I did, too!
