Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Adorbs young boys!

Yoga needs to be switched up for me because then I can pretend I am always just about done. Or that the rough parts are over. I am a bad student.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Nah, Cass...

I always figure if yoga changes each time then it isn't a parade of poses I hate. I mean, some days it IS just that. But most days, there are at least 10 poses I do like!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

But he was so nervous! You could tell he didn't make a habit of talking to strange women, but the sheer dorkness of my shirt made it impossible for him not to say anything.

Cute!

Oh no! I made extra coffee to ice (after drinking one cup now), and I guess I only put one cup's worth of grounds in (stupid autopilot). So, if I make more at double-strength and mix them together, that should work for tomorrow, right?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Got some errands to run(including my quasi-monthly comics run). Tonight we will, with luck, go to the movies, which we haven't done since January.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

What are you seeing?

It's past ten and I haven't accomplished much beyond breakfast and getting dressed. Oh, and I tried rearranging my desk so I could try using it standing, which had mixed results -- I'm going to have to raise the monitor a whole bunch, which gets in the way of being able to switch back and forth at will.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm up, showered and dressed, and have a load of laundry going. Around 11 I'll be making a grocery run with bonus amyth, and the later this afternoon I have a flying lesson, unless thunderstorms hose it. Tomorrow I'll be seeing X-Men again with a friend.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I saw Anna Deveare Smith play 28 different characters last night, including Lance Armstrong and a former heavyweight champion of the world. It was really cool.

My life is otherwise quite boring. And yet busy! Argh.

Boo! I had two possible people to see X-Men with today, and they are both bailing, I think. Ah well. I do love going to the movies by myself.

Marketed and got quite the haul: basil, last peas of the season (boo!), ranier cherries, strawberries, spinach, empanadas. Forgot to look for red onions and tomatoes. But bonus getting to see lisah! Then to TJs and Target.

eta: oh! and I sold a bag of dog biscuits! That brings my sales up to 4! (Erik usually asks one of us to man the table so he can take a bathroom break.)

Still need to go out and get a red onion and dressing and tonic, but that will be later. Let the dogs out for my neighbor. Puppy was so excited it was hard to get him to focus and just pee already.

Going to go swim, then clean, then go get the last of the stuff so I can make my pea salad: peas, roasted corn, red onion, cherry tomatoes in some sort of italian dressing. Maybe feta. I want it to be peasy, and feta might overwhelm that.

May have to go get new sheets, as Loki finally put a huge rip down by my feet as I was TRYING to stay asleep until 7 after waking at 5. Not sure if I have another queen bottom sheet or not.

Man, I don't know if we even have peas yet. I swung by the farmers' market last night and it looked like all lettuce (and pea shoots, etc.) and a few strawberries.
